We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Asphalt Workers to join a well-established civil construction team working across various projects in Adelaide.
This is a great opportunity for someone with asphalt or civil construction experience who enjoys working outdoors and wants consistent, ongoing work with a reputable company.
About the Role
As an Asphalt Worker, you will be involved in a range of asphalt and road construction activities, working as part of a professional crew to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Duties may include:
- Assisting with asphalt laying and paving operations
- Raking, shovelling and spreading asphalt
- Operating hand tools and small equipment
- Preparing and cleaning work areas
- Assisting operators and other members of the crew
- General labouring duties associated with road and civil construction
- Following site safety procedures and instructions
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
About You
We are looking for candidates who are:
- Experienced in asphalt, road construction or civil construction
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Safety-conscious and committed to following procedures
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Available for early starts, day work and occasional night shifts where required
Essential Requirements
- Previous asphalt or civil construction experience
- Construction White Card
- Current driver's licence
- Reliable transport
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
